Since the COVID-19 pandemic breakout and locked us at home, many of us started the “on-hold mode”, believing that things will get back to normal anytime soon, maybe weeks or months.
The truth is, the post-pandemic era started the day it was announced as an international pandemic.
I can’t say it wasn’t shocking and unexpected for everyone but still, there were people with quick reflexes who relentlessly worked hard to predict the size of the shift this pandemic will create, and how to cope with it.
Those are the people who will be leading the new era because they didn’t wait till the storm calm down, instead, they take on their own how to navigate through it, those people have a designer brain. At this era, we need more of the designer’s mentality and less of the capitalist’s one.
We need to think like designers if we aren’t already.
For designers the more obstacles and challenges you add to a puzzle the more appealing and challenging it is for their minds.

Regularly whenever a new problem come up with too many restrictions, designers feel challenged and that pushes them to design a solution that will go around all the restrictions, like water flow around the river stones.
